Current News: We cannot thank you enough Howard Zinn for all you have done.

Levy Arts  mission is to utilize theater and social theory to entertain, enlighten and stimulate a constructive and reflective dialogue
about society.  For over 4 years, we have been using Howard Zinn’s MARX IN SOHO in conjunction with lectures, workshops and
discussions to provide people with the opportunity to learn more about Karl Marx, the man, the father, the husband as well as the
social theorist.

Seeing MARX IN SOHO is just a starting place. Explore
the themes of the play further by having us design a lecture,
lead a discussion or run a workshop for you.

Jerry Levy has been teaching sociology at Marlboro College
since 1975.  In conjunction with his performances of
“ MARX IN SOHO”  Jerry Levy gives lectures, leads
discussions and conducts workshops relating the themes of
the play to current events, education, foreign policy,
contemporary and classical sociological thought, community
activism and history. Ideal for high schools, colleges,
universities,  and other social centers, organizations or
institutions interested in stimulating a dialogue and or
reflection about global issues, our lectures, discussions and
workshops are designed to address the needs of your
curriculum or mission.
